DROP SHIPPING
The goal of drop shipping is to enter your products farther into the postal system to capitalize on postal discounts based on entry points. Depending on concentration, mail is entered directly into a regional Bulk Mailing Center (BMC), Sectional Center Facility (SCF) or even a local post office versus the printer's local or regional center.

CO-PALLETIZATION
Co-Palletization is the process of combining addressed, presorted publications on the same pallet and then drop shipping to regional entry points therefore providing increased postage discounts.

CO-MINGLING
Co-Mingling is the most sophisticated and complex mailing process; individual titles are presorted and bundled together to achieve the maximum level of concentration for each title to final destination.

The HGI Mailing Service department recommends the USPS CAPS program for frequent mailers.

Utilizing the USPS CAPS program (Centralized Account Processing System), our clients are able to streamline the process and maximize the time value of their money when paying postage. A CAPS account provides an electronic option to presenting traditional paper checks that take time in transit and handling when paying the United States Postal Service. You will experience the following benefits when using a CAPS account:

REAL TIME INFORMATION
CAPS account holders have continuous up-to-date information regarding their account balances and draw history through secure online account access.

CONVENIENCE
Customers use one centralized account for all Postal Service Products and Permit Fees. Payments are made directly to the CAPS account from the customer instead of paying by check at each individual post office where a permit is held.

Customers are in total control of their account and the postage payment process, eliminating the need for check processing and overnight charges and delays associated with check delivery.

VALUE
Capitalize on the time value of your money when payments are electronically drawn at the actual time your mailing begins to move, not when the check is received at the Post Office.
